What sites will these links come from?
The sites that you will receive, either through our reciprocal program or our one way program, can be found here, or by click on the "What sites are linking?" menu item on our website.
Are these links considered link farms?
Absolutely not. The links you receive from our service are from individual, unique sites. Furthermore, your link is placed on a relevant page on each of these sites. We do not participate in link farming.
Are the links on separate C class IP addresses?
Yes, the sites that participate in our program are on different C class IP addresses?
What is the page rank of the sites linking to me?
The page rank of the sites you will receive links from varies. You may see page ranks from 0 on up to 7 or 8 while participating in our program. Keep in mind that even if a site with a lower PR joins our programs, the page rank updates will recognize the links acquired through our service and that site will increase, usually to at least a 3 within one update.
How many links will I receive?
We currently have over 500 sites in our network. By participating in our one way program, you will receive links from all of these sites. In addition, as more sites join our network, you will receive these additional links as well, at no additional cost.
I added your code to my site but your system isn't verifying it. What's wrong?
A couple of things could be going on. First, make sure that you selected the appropriate platform - either Windows/ASP or Linux/PHP. You might have to check with your host company to see what they support.
Then, make sure your code is exactly as follows:
For Windows/ASP:
<a href='TopResources.asp'>Top Resources</a>
For Linux/PHP:
<a href='TopResources.php'>Top Resources</a>
The code cannot be altered in any way, or our system will not recognize it.
Next, make sure that the file TopResources.asp or TopResources.php is uploaded to the same directory as the page you have our link on.
Finally, if you are still having problems, verify with your host that either ASP or PHP are activated on your hosting account.
If you are still having problems, please contact us.
I've heard it's important to have my inbound links on relevant sites/pages, how do you address this?
When you join our program, you have the opportunity to tell us what category your site is in. We'll make sure that your link appears on that category page on the sites which will link to you. This way, your link comes from a relevant page every time.
How long do I have these links for?
You will enjoy the benefit of these links for as long as you are part of either our reciprocal or one way program. If you are a reciprocal link partner, as long as you keep our code on your page, you will have the links. If you are a one way partner, as long as your subscription is active, you will have the links.
How long am I committed to the program?
You may cancel our service at any time. If you are a reciprocal link partner, simply remove the code from you page and you will automatically be removed from our system. If you are a one way subscriber, you can cancel by canceling the PayPal subscription that was created when you started using our service. Once you cancel, you will lose all of the links you gained from our service.
How can I verify these links?
You can check these links a couple of ways. First, you can use this link to get to all of the sites in our network that will be linking to you. This will allow you to navigate to the different sites in our network. Then, once you get to the site, click on the Top Resources link that will appear on those sites.
Another way to check the links is through the search engines themselves. One thing to keep in mind before you do this is that the top three search engines will recognize links with varying speeds and quantities. MSN, for example, will recognize the majority of the links you receive through our service within as little as 20 days. Google, on the other end of the spectrum, takes 2-3 months to recognize inbound links to your site, and may not register as many.
To check your backlinks in MSN:
Type "link:http://www.mysiste.com"
To check your backlinks in Yahoo:
Type "linkdomain:www.mysite.com"
To check your backlinks in Google:
Type "link:www.mysite.com"
What is the cost of your service?
You can participate in our reciprocal link program for free. However if you would like one way links, which are valued higher by the search engines, our service is available for only $24.95 per month.
What is the difference between reciprocal and one way links?
One way links are the best type of link you can get. This means that a third party website is linking to your site, but you are not linking back to them. These types of links are valued the most by the search engines.
Reciprocal links mean that you are linking back to the third party site that is linking to you. These types of links are still beneficial, but not valued as high as one way links.
Since one way links are valued more than reciprocal, we've made these one way links, over 100 links, available at a very low cost compared to industry pricing.
The pages that our links are found on are dynamically created by your system, will this affect my site?
It is well known now that dynamic pages are counted just the same by the major search engines, as long as there are less than 3 querystring variables. Our system meets these requirements.
How do I change my information once I've signed up?
You can change your keywords, description, and other information by logging into your account.
